Mahou Sensou (Magical Warfare): ANIME REVIEW

Image
Can somebody please remind me to never watch a M adhouse  anime ever again. I am grateful to Madhouse for producing many good anime, but can they please finish the anime in a second season instead of leaving us at an enormous cliffhanger every time at the end of the first one. Now I have one more anime on my completed list without knowing how it actually ends and it doesn't even have a manga, just a light novel, and to be honest the anime is not worth reading it. Why? Find it out in today's anime review. This time on Mahou Sensou or Magical Warfare. Enjoy! STUDIO:   Madhouse GENRE:   Action, Fantasy, Magic EPISODES:   12 LINKS: MY ANIME LIST | PV TRAILER  PLOT AND STORY LINE 📜 When I saw this anime and read the synopsis I knew that I shouldn't expect much of it. It is just another, average fantasy and  magic anime, with a mainly shallow story and characters, a poor romance, predictable events, annoying shoujo and fan-service el...

Orange: ANIME REVIEW

Image
You can't just take two anime and mix them somehow together to create a complete different one. I hope the makers of this anime kept that in mind because it looks to me like they put Clannad: Afterstory and Ao Haru Ride (Blue Spring Ride) into one anime and the result was one of the highlights of the Summer 2016 season- Orange . STUDIO: Telecom Animation Film GENRE: Sci-Fi, Drama, Romance, School, Shoujo EPISODES: 13 LINKS: MY ANIME LIST | PV TRAILER PLOT & STORY LINE 📜 To explain what I wanted to say in the intro, this anime looks like the makers took the characters along with the Romance and School life from Ao Haru Ride, but the emotions and Sci-Fi element from Clannad. It is not as childish as Ao Haru Ride, it is has a more serious topic, but it doesn't give you an emotional breakdown like the one Afterstory gives. Picture it like this, if anime could evolve, Orange would be kinda in the middle of the evolution from Ao Haru Ride ...

Chain Chronicle: Haecceitas no Hikari: ANIME REVIEW

Image
Greetings Minna-san,  It is finally summer and Anime Girl is back. I haven't really had time to write as much as I wanted to because of university, but it is summer break now and that means three months of anime, anime and just anime. I started right away with catching up all the anime I missed this year starting with the Winter 2017 season. I did watch some of them like Youjo Senki, KonoSuba 2 and Tales of Zestiria the X 2 and now it's time to write a review on the one I finished yesterday.  I am still searching for an action fantasy anime that will literary blow my mind with its awesomeness, and believe it or not, this anime had potential to do so. But man, they really screwed up the anime at some points and made it a little less enjoyable than I expected. Give it up for the first review of this summer: Chain Chronicles: The Light of Haecceitas.  PLOT & STORY LINE 📜 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------...

Youjo Senki (Saga of Tanya the Evil): ANIME REVIEW

Image
We have seen so many gods in anime, right? Well, this anime takes the god-man relationship on a whole new level. The first 2017 anime I am reviewing today is a Military, Action, Magic anime produced by Media Factory and AT-X rated with a 8.21 by the users on My Anime List. According to the rating it must be good...and trust me when I say, it really was. Enjoy my review on Youjo Senki aka. Saga of Tanya the Evil. PLOT AND STORY LINE  📖 Youjo senki follows little Tanya, a girl whose cute appearance sometimes covers up her evil and ruthless self that got her the nickname "Devil of the Rhine". The 'devil' that resides inside of her body is the soul of a man that was reincarnated as a little girl into a world of magical warfare. In the moment of his death, the man meets 'Being-X', the self-proclaimed, God that wants to convince the man into believing in GOD. He of course refuses, and so gets reincarnated into a cruel and rough world where he would fi...

Owari no Seraph/ Seraph of the End: ANIME REVIEW

Image
Well hello my dear anime fellows, This is Anime Girl with another review on an anime I finished just a couple of days ago. You know, I've never been a huge fan of vampires. It became such a mainstream story and I hate mainstream. Yet, I made my self to watch this vampire anime. I did it because it is not that usual 'stab the vampire with a dagger in the heart to kill it' story, but more...anime like. In the end, I really liked it. Give it up for the review on Owari no Seraph.  Plot and Story Line  Owari no Seraph is an action, supernatural and drama anime that aired in 2015. It has two seasons: Owari no Seraph and Owari no Seraph: Nagoya Kessen-hen. The MAL community rated it as a 7,66 which is in my opinion just the right rating for this anime. When it comes to the plot of Owari no Seraph, it is set in a post-apocalyptic  world in which a virus kills all those above 13. In such a world, Yuuichirou and Mikaela, two boys from the Hyakuya orphanage, became ...

Ajin: ANIME REVIEW

Image
Yo Minna, what's up?! The anime in this review is quite interesting. You firstly have the main character, a black-haired little boy who is some kind of study nerd that suddenly becomes a half-human, half-demon like creature. Then there is his best friend (or ex-best friend, whatever). A blond guy that does not care about school that much. And then there is a old, white-haired man with always closed eyes (you that , when they draw eyes like a thick line in anime) that wants to help him, when the government wants to catch him. Oh, and not any branch, a special unit of the government made just to catch those "monsters". No guys, this won't be a Tokyo Ghoul review, I already did that one. It is the first review on a 2016-anime, AJIN . Let the critics begin. PLOT AND STORY LINE You know how everyone sees Guilty Crown as a Code Geass rip-off. Well, Ajin is even worse. It took so many obvious segments of Tokyo Ghoul, you can't even believe that they ac...

Rokka no Yuusha/ Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers: ANIME REVIEW

Image
A mystery, action, magic, fantasy anime. A ranking of #921 on MAL. A Pony Canyon Production (The producers of "Attack of Titan", "Fairy Tail", "Clannad"...). I really was optimistic about this anime and was looking forward to watching it. Now guess?  Yes, I didn't like it. I was so disappointed. True it wasn't that bad, but when you have high expectations, even the slightest bad can change your opinion completely.  This time, a review on a rather new anime, ROKKA NO YUUSHA.   Plot and Story Line  This is again one of the stories based on an old legend, with a bit magic and a couple of heroes. Tough it differs a bit and has it's special taste. Now, off to the plot!  The story is set in, let's say, ancient times. The temples and backgrounds do kinda look like the towns of the Maya or the Incas. I loved the setting for this anime. In such old times, legend were a normal thing. On one of those legends is our anime based on. ...

Ao Haru Ride/ Blue Spring Ride: ANIME REVIEW

Image
First of all I want to say that it was You who choose this anime to be my next review. In a google+ poll 133 voted and this anime won with 59% of all votes.  I actually never liked romance movies nor romance anime. I always thought that they were boring. Yet, one day I was feeling like I could watch a romance anime (i think it comes with the years) and I decided it to be a manga based anime that has a MAL rating of 7,95. From the makers of "Attack on Titan", "Psycho-Pass" and "Guilty Crown" came in July, 2014 my first romance anime: " Ao Haru Ride ".  Plot and Story Line It's the first time that the MAL community rated an anime exactly as I did. I gave it an 8 (well 7,95 is close). The story is funny, cute, romantic and realistic.  I never believed that I would say this one day, but I really enjoyed this romance. I loved it. Now let's get this started... To the plot . It's a fantastic story that, as I believe, happened...
