World of Anime Girl

Lately, I've been browsing trough the forum on My Anime List and I came across a very interesting question. The topic of the discussion was something like "What makes an anime perfect?". There were many answers and being as curious as I am I checked them out. I did just flicked trough but I grasped the stuff that people value the most on an anime. Here are some answers that caught my eye (I hope nobody gets mad because I quoted them :D) : In this 40th blog-post, I'll write my usual anime review structure but not on a particular anime. A mystery, action, magic, fantasy anime. A ranking of #921 on MAL. A Pony Canyon Production (The producers of "Attack of Titan", "Fairy Tail", "Clannad"...). I really was optimistic about this anime and was looking forward to watching it. Now guess?  Yes, I didn't like it. I was so disappointed. True it wasn't that bad, but when you have high expectations, even the slightest bad can change your opinion completely.  This time, a review on a rather new anime, ROKKA NO YUUSHA.   Plot and Story Line  This is again one of the stories based on an old legend, with a bit magic and a couple of heroes. After two months of watching Fairy Tail and still not being done with it, I decided to take a short break with another anime. I did miss the good, short 12-episode-long anime and it was a very good one this time if I may add. A lot of people actually hate short anime, but I like them because they omit the worst possible thing that can happen. The middle-episode catastrophe. Anime such as Zetsuen no Tempest, Guilty Crown etc. are a perfect example. But let's quit talking about that and concentrate on this anime's review: NORAGAMI!   Plot and Story Line As expected from a #348 ranked anime on My Anime List, Noragami was very good. After thinking about whether to rate it as a 7 or 8, I gave it a 7. It is a good one but not as good as Mirai Nikki, SAO, NGNL, Gnagsta or Gosick that have a rating of 8. See, when I was just a little AnimeGirl I used to watch detective Connan on the TV. Now I found a more interesting, better and more mysterious anime that is kinda the prefect show for all the Anime beginners out there (I even recommended it to my teacher, who is now a great anime lover). Using my fountain of wisdom I will represent you the anime of this review, the Sherlock Holmes of the anime world...Gosick!  Plot and Storyline: This is the type of stories where you have a couple of shorter stories that are not connected with each other at first sight, but become a whole in the end when the makers show you the hidden details on witch you didn't pay attention in the beginning. Sounds hard to understand, but it is not at all. Gosick is an anime where the genres mystery, historical and romance merged together into an awesome story that truly finds a place in your heart.  Now let's set the scene first. First review request from a good friend of mine, I hope you like it! Imagine this anime as a copy-paste document form Code Geass where the makers just changed the font style and color and maybe added or deleted a few sentences. Unlike other reviews I'll write this one as if we are living in an universe where Code Geass does not exist and just focus on this reviews topic, Guilty Crown. A rating of 7,89 on MAL (My Anime List) is just right to describe the 22-episode-long anime that finished airing in 2012. The pros and cons of this series kinda cancel each other leaving a nice anime with an 35% approximate chance that I'll watch it again. Probably not... Plot and Storyline: I don't know why, but if anime makers mess something up then it's always the end, or in this case the whole second half. Guilty Crown would be much better if it only had the 12 episodes it has in the beginning. The rest is nearly trash. The end was so rushed, the happenings were all so sudden...
