World of Anime Girl

I still can't believe it's over. After 545 chapters, in 62 volumes, Fairy Tail reached its final chapter on July 26. Despite being somewhat repetitivne and predictive, Fairy Tail has become on of my favorite anime ever and now with the manga being finished I was really looking forward to some anime sequels. And it really hit the news some days ago: Fairy Tail is getting another anime sequel, 'The Final Season' in 2018. The news was revealed by non other but the creator of Fairy Tail, Hiro Mashima in one of his tweets:  After two anime seasons, one aired in 2009 and the other in 2014, Fairy Tail got two OVAs and two movies: Phoenix Priestess (2012) and Dragon Cry (2017). It's most recent television anime was the prequel Fairy Tail Zero which is one of my favorite story arcs of the entire franchise.  In addition to that, Mahima revealed one more thing over his twitter account in May: "Even though the original manga is ending, I don't thin...

I think I am slowly entering a void of emotions with every week that passes because Fairy Tail is ending. You open the first page of chapter 540 and read that there are only 6 chapters left until the finale. SIX MORE CHAPTERS! Now before the last battle starts I thought why not discuss what's happened up until now.  *****SPOILER ALERT***** Natsu finally did it. He defeated Zeref Dragneel, the dark and most evil mage that ever lived. I cannot express the thrill and epicness of the few chapters that covered the battle between them. The very end of the fight (chapter 537) was with great extend one of the most emotional Fairy Tail moments I watched/read. The one thing that Zeref always wanted, but not knowingly also always had was love. Mavis' love marked his as well as her own end: "A barefoot girl, and a jet-black boy, were playing ever so joyfull." On the other side of the battlefield we have Erza, Jellal, Anna, the Blue Pegasus crew and others fight...

I think it was about time. I was thinking about doing this for some time now, but never actually get the chance. Since I don't watch many currently airing anime to discuss each new episode, I decided to do manga discussions. From now on, visit World of Anime Girl each week and take a glance at the currently airing manga I am reading which would be: Fairy Tail , Akatsuki no Yona , ReLIFE and Boruto (if the manga continues that is). And the first chapter to be discussed today, Fairy Tail chapter 528: "Evil Dragon". Enjoy! ***SPOILER ALERT*** After a long and emotional fight with her mother Erza and Wandy encounter their next enemy, but this time it is not someone they hope to be able to defeat. In front of them, Acnologia, who is enjoying in stomping on Eileen's (Erza's mother) dead body. Soon, he figures that Wendy is a dragon slayer and he starts to attack. Luckily for the two, Jellal arrives and saves them. However, his attacks seem useless ...
