SPRING 2017 Anime Preview

I just hope I am not late for this one. It is March 25 and the air is full of spring vibes. The sun is finally shining, the weather is great, birds are singing yet all the anime community is waiting for is the SPRING 2017 season to start. And after taking a glance at the anime that are coming up this April, I must admit that I am quite optimistic and extremely excited. There are a couple of long anticipated second seasons, some new generations and much more. Now let's dig in into some of the anime of the SPRING 2017 SEASON. Enjoy! 




SHINGEKI NO KYOJIN 2 (ATTACK ON TITAN 2)


Four years. It's been four years since the first season aired and Wit Studios along with Production I.G finally decided to make a second season of Attack on Titan. I have to admit that I am not such a great AoT fan, but I know how anticipated it was so I couldn't leave it out of this post. I'll probably watch it some time but not right away.The PV trailer looks promising. I see the usual AoT animation, new characters, some old ones, the brutality and of course the disgusting titans. Seeing them again makes me wanna reconsider my decision of giving it a try.

ZERO KARA HAJIMERU MAHOU NO SHO


This one got me on mahou. I love magic, fantasy and adventure anime and this one has it all. It is a story about a witch that has to find her magic book and a half beast that dreams of being a human. The PV trailer looks amazing and I am really looking forward to it. I hope that it doesn't have much connection with Re:ZEro Kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu except for the similar title and the studio (White Fox). Still, I see the same amazing animation and style which migh be good.

ALICE TO ZOUROKU (ALICE & ZOUROKU)


I am pretty sure that this will be the sweetest anime of the season. The story follows little Sana, a girl holding the power called "Alice's Dream", an ability that allows her to create anything she imagines. After escaping the laboratory where she had been hold as a test subject, Sana finds her self in the unknown 'normal' world where she encounters Zouroku. Question is, what will the old man do with the little girl. The animation style, that I've seen from the PV doesn't look that great but I am sure that the story will be entertaining, extremely funny and moving at the same time. Looking forward to it.

CLOCKWORK PLANET


The Earth as we know today has ceased to exist (how original...), but it gets better. The Earth dies but one engineer manages to revive it by using only gears and clockwork. Thousand years later, student and machine lover Naoto finds a strange box in his apartment that crushed trough the roof. Inside of it, a female automaton that he manages to fix. I personally think that the setting is really interesting and the plot promises a lot of action and Sci-Fi. I am so gonna watch this one especially because I saw amazing animation in the PV trailer.

BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS


And the most anticipated anime of the season, for me at least. Naruto Shippuden finished a couple of days ago but fortunately for all fans out there his son is taking over the screens. The PV trailer doesn't actually tell us much about the anime, but whoever watched Boruto: Naruto the Movie can imagine how it will be like. A very talented ninja son that craves the attention of his father, the 7th Hokage. I also read the beginning of the manga and it really looks good. Just as Boruto says: "This isn't a story of a boy aspiring to be hokage. That was my dad's story. Make no mistakes. THIS IS MY STORY". And I am sure that it will be just amazing as Naruto's was.

The MADHOUSE Curse: Why is Madhouse Never Making a Second Anime Season?

Even though I said in one of my previous posts that I'll never watch a Madhouse anime again...I did. And guess what. The anime again ends halfway, unfinished, with no second season in sight. Some people in the community call it the Madhouse course, but trust me, it actually doesn't have anything to do with  the studio, and here's all why: Madhouse is the STUDIO, not the PRODUCER Many of us (I do too), mainly look at the studio that made the anime, we don't care much about the producers, right? I mean, the studio is the one that kinda brings the idea, the story and the screenplay into life, but it is the production or even the author of the original material that decide whether an anime gets a second season or not. Chain Chronicle: Haecceitas no Hikari: ANIME REVIEW

Greetings Minna-san,  It is finally summer and Anime Girl is back. I haven't really had time to write as much as I wanted to because of university, but it is summer break now and that means three months of anime, anime and just anime. I started right away with catching up all the anime I missed this year starting with the Winter 2017 season. I did watch some of them like Youjo Senki, KonoSuba 2 and Tales of Zestiria the X 2 and now it's time to write a review on the one I finished yesterday.  I am still searching for an action fantasy anime that will literary blow my mind with its awesomeness, and believe it or not, this anime had potential to do so. Romeo x Juliet (2007): ANIME REVIEW

I have never been a huge romance fan but I am glad that I watched this one. Though romance might be the first thing you think of when you hear these two names, but the anime version of this epic tale has so much more to it, especially when it comes to the main heroine.  It surely has been a while since I last posted an anime review on my blog and this time I dug up an anime form 11 years ago. The Shocking Hidden Message in "Spirited Away"

It's been some time since I wanted to write a post on this topic. We all know Studio Ghibli's Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi or the English title Spirited Away. I was a kid when I firstly watched it and I watched it in German. Yes, in German and its title was Chihiros Reise ins Zauberland . An Academy Award winning animated movie by the king of anime Hayao Miyazaki about a little girl that gets lost in a strange world and her only wish is to find her parents. Violet Evergarden (2018): ANIME REVIEW

Do you have any idea of how long I have waited for this anime to come out. I have added it to my plan-to-watch list from the time when the first visuals came out. I was instantly hooked by its animation and little did I know that the story will get to me equally as much. Setting new standards in the cute girl universe KyoAni gave us a spectacular tale in the Winter 2018 season. In today's review section of World of Anime Girl: Violet Evergarden. Enjoy! What started as a series of visual novels has over time developed into a super successful franchise of various manga, anime, movies, and games. Everyone who is a bit into anime knows about the franchise and it is really hard not to, considering that every new season brings another work from Type-Moon's Fate Universe .  The whole Fate franchise is set in a fantasy universe where magic exists and mages are the main characters. In such a world exists an omnipotent, wish-granting device, known as the Holy Grail that materializes itself approximately every sixty years (according to the main Fate storyline). FALL 2017 Anime Preview

What do you mean the Summer holiday is ending? The Fall 2017 season is there? Sad, but true. Summer is ending but it feels like it was just yesterday that I did the anime preview for the previous season. Worst of it, I haven't seen any Summer 2017 anime except for Fate/Apocrypha. I had to catch up with the anime from Spring. And now I am again doing a preview on all the anime I won't be watching because the new semester is starting. How great. Still, it is my job to give some info and share my opinion on the upcoming anime in the Fall 2017 anime season.  I went through the seasonal anime list on MAL and picked a couple of titles that I found interesting.
